Presentation of the different modules

Presentation module
With this module, you can choose to display the name, avatar, tags, description and creation date of your blog, a link to the homepage and a link allowing your visitors to recommend your blog. Drag and drop the elements you have selected for the module from the "Hidden elements" column to the "Displayed elements" column. Just do the opposite action to remove an element.
Overblog module
Allows you to send your readers directly to the sign-up page of de.over-blog.com.
Search module
This module allows your readers to search an article on your blog. You can edit the text of the search button.
With a Premium blog, you can either choose to display the search results on your blog or on de.over-blog.com portal.
Last Articles module
This module displays the publishing dates and titles of your latest articles. You can choose to display up to 10 articles.
With a Premium blog, you can add the beginning of the article (limited in characters) or choose to display randomly selected articles.
Calendar module
This module displays a calendar where publishing dates are highlighted and refer to the corresponding articles.
Photo Album module
This module allows you to display one or several photo albums on your blog ( Learn more ) . You can either choose to display the title of the album or the title and the cover of the album.
With a Premium blog, you can also choose to only display the cover.
Random pictures module
This module displays up to 50 randomly selected pictures picked from your Photo Albums.
Newsletter module
This module allows your readers to subscribe to your newsletter and be kept informed about new articles.
Links module
This module displays a list of your favourite blogs/websites. At any time, you can either add, edit, delete a link or change the order.
Archives module
This module allows your users to find an article from its publishing month.
Syndication module
This module allows your readers to subscribe to your RSS, ATOM or RDF feed.
Categories module
This module allows your readers to see all articles of a selected category.
Last comments module
This module allows you to display up to 10 comments, their publishing dates and their authors.
With a Premium blog, you can also display the first words of the comments.
Communities module
This module displays the communities you take part in. You can either choose to display all the communities you take part in or the communities you manage.
Profile module
This module displays your information (except for the First Name and Last Name) found in the "My Profile" tab, "Public Profile" category.
Drag and drop the elements you have selected for the module from the "Hidden elements" column to the "Displayed elements" column. Just do the opposite action to remove an element.
Pages module
This module displays a link towards all the pages you have published in a selected category. You have several modules to display several categories of pages.
Free Text module
You have 8 Free Text modules which enable you to customize your blog even more. You can add widgets (cf glossary) external to Overblog, text fields, pictures, music players, videos...
All the options available while writing an article are available in the Free Text modules as well.
