Where to find downloadable movies

Legal film downloads are becoming more popular and services are popping up with surprising frequency. These services allow people to download films without any of the risk of file sharing viruses or BitTorrent bugs. There is usually a subscription price but you are certain that you will get a good copy of the film rather than a washed-out cam version, or a version with foreign subtitles. Below are some websites where you can download movies.

Love Film

Love Film offers account holders the chance to download films to an Internet-enabled television or PlayStation 3. They offer new customers a 15-day free trial, but you have to make sure that no one in the same address has used the offer previously as they won’t allow a second trial. After this, they offer unlimited downloads depending on your chosen package. They have a wide range of films covering all genres and downloading can be very quick, depending on your Internet connection.

Blockbuster

Similar to the Love Film service, Blockbuster also offers its online customers the ability to download films to their computer or device. The prices depend on the package that you choose and customers are again given a 2-week trial before they start to pay for the service. The packages range from 1 to 3 movies at a time and the prices reflect this. Although competitively priced, Love film beats Blockbuster because their service includes unlimited streaming options.

Orange

Orange have recently launched a new service for its customers called Films2go. Similar to their Orange Wednesday scheme, customers send a text and receive a code allowing them to download a film every Thursday. This service cost 35p per text and customers are only allowed to download a specific film each week. So far, the films which are available for download have been The Wrestler and The Ghost, so this suggests that the films come from a variety of genres and include something for everyone. It is a shame that customers are only given a specific film, but for 35p, and a film per week, it’s hard to see anyone complaining too soon.

Conclusion

There are a number of options available in order to legally download films and they will only grow in popularity as people get annoyed with the low quality of pirate films. Although these services do cost, they are cheaper than buying or even renting the films and they do allow people to watch the new releases without having to wait for their video store to get copies in, or go outside in bad weather conditions to rent a film.
